Pilot Name: I/KG26_Diesel AircraftType: Ju 88A4 2-500'S 18-50'S Target Duties: ANY TARGETS IN U-21 V-21 Targets Destroyed: 9 x Trucks 1 x AAA car Mission End Status: Crashed Safe At Home Base Points: 420
Mission Debriefing: After last weeks fiasco attacking the ivan's in that Ju 87 D 3 with my buddy Otto Weber as my tail gunner it was just nice to get back alive. Only the second time I have ever flown Ju 87 so it was a miracle I was able to get to target and back, good thing we had 2 or 3 beers. The rest of my crew got here this week and now we will be able to get into a Ju 88. Second pilot / bomb aimer, Otto Weber, radio operator / rear gunner, Carl Stotz, rear ventral gunner, Hans Weise and myself first pilot / navigate, Diesel. Was leader of flight. Took off full load of bombs and fuel, turned to target and climbed to 1000 m. Weather was not to nice, lot of ground fog. On way to target Fishey got ramed and went down in flames no one got out. Flew over the airport at Mitau by mistake, got hit hard by the flak guns there started to leak fuel. Over Mitau Redcoat spoted enemy supply columns on roads just outside town. Made 2 passes over truck columns and was able to hit some of them. Took more heavy flak hits, lost my rudder. Dam over Mitau lost Evil Redcoat to heavy flak. We will have to come back to this target again, somehow we will have to get rid of those flak guns. Turned for home with no rudder and leaking fuel. Tower cleared us for landing. As we were at about 50m rookie bomber pilot flew under us and the up draft pushed us side ways into the ground, it was more than luck that we all were able to walk away safe from the crash. I need a beer. Diesel

Pilot Name: I/KG26_Alpha Aircraft Type: Ju88-A4 Target Duties: Recce Shaulen Town & Airfield Targets Destroyed: Tank in Schaulen Supply route bridge North of Schaulen A/f
Mission End Status:Landed at Airfield Points: 40
Mission Debriefing:
After viewing the mission map and some late intel report I decided to go alone to Schaulen.
Took off from Fraulenburgh a/f and headed 160' climbing to 3800m through the foggy morning into the cloud base around 1500m. The flight down to the target area was fraught with danger from enemy bombers passing under the Ju88, I arrived at Shaulen town and went down to 2500m and found a single tank guarding the msr into the town, I got the Stuvi setup for 900m 450kph set dive brakes and pulled the throttle levers back and lowered th pitch controls pushed the nose over and headed straight into the town and the tank, the target pipper came up fast and the warning klaxon sounded as I pulled the bomb release lever dropping two 500kg's and pulling hard on the stick to get out of the dive. My rear gunner reports the bombs went long and had demolished the whole of the streets 4 storey buildings and shops, ok this made my next attack easier with no tall building in the way, I swung around and lined up from the South end of town on a fast approach along the road dropping six 50kg bombs on the tank, this time the rear gunner called target destroyed. My navigator reminded me of the time and heading due to enemy activity in the area from previous missions so I pushed the throttles up and headed to his recommended target a bridge on the enemy MSR. Just north of Schaulen airfield I spotted a concrete bridge and made an attack collapsing the structure and dumping my bombs as I cleared it I made an rtb course 340' and a steady climb to 3000m. After some minutes the radio barked into life and I was diverted to Libau due to enemy activity close to our home airfields, I checked my fuel and decided to make a landing at a temporary airfield close to the front lines but in a safer area.
S!
