Pilot Name:I/KG26_Raven AircraftType:HE-111H2 Target Duties:Factory area Targets Destroyed:none Mission End Status:Landed Points:0
Mission Debriefing: Bomber leader, after take off headed out to sea and started slow climb to 4000m. Escorts above us and more land inwards, bombers keep a bit more west to avoid enemy contacts. Lined up with target 2 grids SSW and flew straight in. Heavy flak above target area, took some damage, nothing serious, didn't hit the target and couldn't see where bombs hit because of heavy flak. Headed out to sea and turned south to go home, had minor flak close to home base, landed without further incidents.
Redcoat and Elwood performed excellent, good formation flying and good communication.

Pilot Name: Redcoat AircraftType: He111 h2 Target Duties:Destroy industrial area, Libau Targets Destroyed: Buildings. 1aa gun and 1 truck Mission End Status: Landed safe Points: 90
Mission Debriefing:
With Raven leading, and Elwood as number 3, and myself in number 4, we took off from the wide areodrome at Memel. We climbed to an altitude of 4000 meters, swinging out NNW to fly over the sea, avoiding flak and fighter resistance, with the escort group of Yip and Without climbing to 5000 meters, tracking paralell to us up the coast, imposing themselves between us and any trouble. On sighting the target industrial area (Libau, north side of the river on the coast) off our 2 o'clock, Raven took us straight in on a NE hdg. We divided the target into areas of responsibillity, with myself taking the far left (north) of the area. Just before bomb release, we encountered very heavy flak. After the drop, Raven ordered us to break out left, back out to sea and we desended down to 2500 meters, to pick up speed and clear the flak. I took a fuel leak, Raven got the same plus more severe control surface damage, and Elwood reported light damage. The flight followed the coast back, where half way back we saw the JU88 flight head North inland of us. We also took some flak from the airfield close to the frontline north of Memel, where I observed 3 DB3s parked up. Landed back safely, just behind Raven.
Raven flight leading was excellent, as was Elwoods flying and bombing. Our escort, Yip and Without did a great job, intercepting a flight of I16s, and maintaining a constant watch over the bombers. Thanks guys!

Pilot Name: I/KG26_Alpha AircraftType: Ju88A-4 Target Duties: Attack Supply vehicles Targets Destroyed: One flak Column Mission End Status:Landed at Memel Airfield. Points: 215
Mission Debriefing: As fligfht leader of the Ju88A-4's I took off from Tilsit airfield with I/KG26 Wulf and I/KG26 Madjek, we egressed to Memel airfield to find our target area North of Polangren enemy airfield. We climbed out to 4000m and flew past 3 DB3 enemy bombers then dodged the flak at Polangren airbase, we dropped down looking along the enemy main supply route running north to Libau, Wulf spotted the first column and lined up an attack run successfully completing it nailing all the convoy in one pass. I spotted a column just ahead of the first and Madjek then got into postion and dove in taking out mall but 2 trucks, after some manouvering around we headed north looming for more of the same action, I over flew a flak positon at a pair of bridges north of Polangen and we found a third column upon which I got in postion and mede my attack and just missing 2 trucks with my first pass, the second time around and in I took the whole lot out. After a few minutes spent reconning the area Madjeck reported low fuel due to a leak from flak hits, we egressed South to Polangre airfield with the intention of dropping remaining ordanace on them, Wulf spotted the 2 trucks missed from our second attack and promptly bombed them destroying one only, last report from him was that hes finnishing off the last truck I looked back to see a crashed Ju88A-4 and no survivours evacuated. I set the Revi bombsite up for Polagen airbase and dove into flak hell resulting in an early drop from 1800m missing the DB3 bombers parked up probally the ones we saw earlier over Polagren town, I survived the flak barrage and rejoined the flight. Madjek and I rtb'd to Memel airfiled where we met the fighters and He111 pilots so we all got drunk at the bar and shared our stories or woe and glee.

Pilot Name: I/KG26_MadJek AircraftType: JU-88A4 [Loadout 2xSC250 & 28xSC50 50% Fuel] Target Duties: Attack supply convoy Targets Destroyed: 1 tank and 5 trucks Mission End Status: Landed at Memel airdrome Points: 165
Mission Debriefing:
Took off as #2 in Alpha's flight. Formed up nicely with rest of flight members. Proceeded to target, climbing to 4000m. On way to target Flight leader noticed enemy airfield near Polengen and made flight plan adjustment to keep us out of the way of enemy Flak. As we came up to the airfield I spotted 3 Db-3's heading east. The meandered by the airfield low and appeared to be landing. Pushed on to target, when I/KG26_Wulf spotted our first Convoy. Alpha and I stayed high to draw AAA as Wulf made his run. Wulf took out the entire convoy. Alpha spotted another convoy and had me go in to hit it. Set up for a dive bomb run, but experienced momentary red-out (Lag) and dropped my 250kg poorly. Came around and made several passes on the convoy destroying trucks and enemy AAA before running out of bombs. Left a truck and a car heading south. Our flight then proceeded north to search and destroy. We ran into on enemy flak battery by a bridge in sector F-15. Nevertheless, Alpha and Wulf spotted another convoy. Alpha attacked and completely destroyed it as I circled to draw AAA. I took a fuel tank hit in my starboard tank. Our flight then went back south towards the airfield at Polengen. Wolf spotted the two vehicles I had left and made a successful pass on one. I noticed him come in on a pass on the final truck and saw his plane hit into the ground. My crew and I lost a good comrade today, but will stick to Ivan the next chance we get as a form of repayment. Alpha and I then headed for home. On the way home Alpha hit the airfield at Polengren. I was unable to see anything, as I was heading away from the Flak. After heading away from flak, I adjusted my course and headed for Memel to land. After getting out of my crate, I immediately went to the bar. I bought a round for all that were there to remember all the kampfflieger who didn't come back and celebrate us sticking to Ivan. I want to salute the JG26 as I saw no enemy fighters. Good Job guys.

Pilot Name: II/KG200 eLWood Aircraft Type: HE-111 H2 30 50kg SC Target Duties:Industrial structures west of center of Libau Targets Destroyed: Factories including vehicles within Mission End Status: Landed w/ broken tail wheel Points:570.0
Mission Debriefing: Took off from multi-use airfield near Memel. Proceeded north over sea keeping a 10km buffer to coast. Raven led flight and redcoat assumed flight leader when I had a network issue. About 20 km from target area, Raven turned group to NE heading. Target areas were divided into 3 lanes: north, south knob, and middle. IP was @ 4.09 km alt, 270 indicated, and TAS 320 km p/h, no delay. Aim point was at coast. All indications were that drop hit intended target area with maximum effect. Broke left over sea while dropping alt. and turned south for base. Spotted heavy flak at enemy base north of front lines along with 2 operational DB-3's. Hard landing at base with broken tail wheel. Escort was excellent with the proof being no enemy fighters spotted by bomber group, and escorts reporting the downing of 4 or 5 Bolshevik interceptors.
