Pilot Name: Redcoat AircraftType: JU88 Target Duties:Search and Destroy Targets Destroyed: 3 static a/c,1 tank, & 3 cars Mission End Status: RTB'd safe Points: 175
Mission Debriefing: I took JU88 "CL" with 2x250s, and 28x50s. Took off and headed north towards Schaulen. On reaching Schaulen (about 12:15hh), I spotted 2 IL2s making staffing attacks against a friendly line of guns and trucks, which I reported to the fighters. Continuing north along the MSR, I spotted and attacked tanks moving south at T16. I destroyed 1 with my 250s, reported them and carried on North. I also spotted and attacked a column offroad just south of Mitau . I destroyed some vehicles, and reported the location for the following bombers before continuing north. I made it up tothe airfield at V21, where I spotted IL2s landing, so I manouvered for an attack, but the aircraft spawned out just in time. I made repeated attacks killing a few statics. Oranje showed up, so I orbitted the airfield for 5 minutes to draw the heavy flak, but swinging out to the east of Mitau, I spotted 2 columns, which Oranje then attacked, first destroyin a column on a bridge, then destroying the second column as it came to a halt. We headed for home, intercepting the SW MSR from Riga in friendly lines , and landed back at Frauenburg Landed safely.

Pilot Name: I/KG26 DIESEL Aircraft Type: Ju 88 A-4 1941 IH+DL Target Duties: ENEMY TRAINS, SUPPY TRUCKS, FLAK GUNS AND TANKS Targets Destroyed: One AAA GUN Mission End Status: Landed Safe Points:60
Mission Debriefing: Fourth combat mission with great crew. We really are getting to know each other and we are all doing our jobs. Got into the air with 100 % fuel, 2-250 SC lb, 28-50 SC lb bombs. Weather was nice. Climbed to 1200 and flew to target. Long flight. After long search found assigned targets. Made 3 or 4 bomb runs at tanks on the road out side of town of Schauen. Missed each time , tanks must have been doing 35 kms hour. Heavy flak, made turn and headed over to air field out side of the town. Heavy flak, made one bomb run and hit flak gun. Dam gunners down there are good, took many hits, right engine got hit again mmmmm lots of smoke and loosing oil. On the way home spotted I-16 and made pass at him guns a blazing away. All guns missed, he must have been out ammo, ran like hell. Right engine started to go bad no oil. Came straight in on one engine and made safe landing. These one engine landings are getting to be habit. Will be getting leave for 2 days now boy we really need it.

Mission Debriefing: I/KG26_Oranje Reports.
After my Recon duty`s i was ask to support the bomber groop this time. Starting from Tauroggen Airfield to fly a recon bombing mission. After start i head to Schaulen to follow the road from riga. I started to clim to 4000 m alt and over Schaulen i spotted the german ground troops , atacking the town, no flak firing on me. I have spotted over schaulen , the JG26 me109s wiht Laggs and Pe2s. I followd the road to Janischken and discover not to many targets. Some targets look like it was distroyd. Ok well than up to Mitau, Redcoat reported, that there was a airfield over there with lots of targets on it and heavy flak. So i prepare to atack that airfield and on that moment i spotted two Pe2s , one was damige, looks like the are heading to Riga. On my bomb run i got a report from Redcoat that he spotted two supply collums near the town , Mitau. I broke of my atack and heading to Redcoat and lower my alt to 500m. Over the aria that was reported , i recon the collums and notice that the were heading to a bridge. I waited and made one dummy run over bridge, than i got the report from redcoat that the first collum was in front of bridge , i turnd and atckt it. Bingo , one bridge and one collum down wiht one pair off sc500. after that i turnt again to wait for second collum. Redcoat spotted that the collum stopt before the bridge. So i turnd again and atackt the second collum. Bingo got it again. Togther wiht Redcoat i flown to new home base near Frauenburg. On the road till home base we dint spotted any car or tank or infantrie. I landed safe and run to the bar to give Redcoat a big big glas of beer. He supported me outstanding on my atack run. Great work bro. And great work from the JG26 pilots, the have fighting hard against the laggs and pe2s.
End report I/KG26_Oranje.

Pilot Name:I/KG26_Alpha AircraftType: He111H-6 Target Duties: Recon/Bomb Kauen Targets Destroyed:None Mission End Status: landed at Airfield Points: 0
Mission Debriefing:
Arrived at Tilsit airfield to find my old He111 had been upgraded to a H-6 and was sporting some uber SC2000kg bombs, the mechanics (who regard the planes as theirs) ran me through a few do and donts and I was ready to go, but where I had no idea.
After a short briefing I had decided to undertake a recon/bomb run on Kauen where I had reported 85mm flak from the last recon mission down that way. I had the back end of the flight line and taxied up to t/o holding point, my hands shaking on the flight yoke in time with the power from the new Jumos as they swung the props over with a fast preflight check in progress as I put the throttles to the gate my bombardier threw the checklist over his shoulder and I heaved the 4000kg payload sky wards. The flight plan was sketchy so I climb out to 700m and egressed 90' to target area in a full power climb putting the H-6 through its paces, all seemed well so we went to stage 2 supercharger and headed up to 5000m. Flight was clear of enemy aircraft behind our lines from Tilsit to the Kauen forests where there were 2 industrial areas I got the bombardier lined up on the furthest eastern target and had flak coming up almost as soon as the bombardier called bombs away. After some evasive action we were soon clear nd heading to Taroggen where upon arrival were diverted to our new airfield at Frauenbug some 150km away to the north. When the crew stopped grumbling about the long flight to Frauenburg I reminded them it was a nice place with some nice farm girls there that were friendly to bomber crews, this seemed to shape them up a bit and all got back to work preparing the aircraft for landing. On arrival at Fraunburg there were Ju88's and He111's there and even a JG26 fighter jocks who we had buying drinks all night long whilst they told us their stories of great fights and bravery, they got too drunk and so we took the ladies they had been priming all night with booze back to barracks for "tiffin".
