Pilot Name: I/KG26_MadJek Aircraft Type:JU-88A4 [Loadout 2x50kg & 18x50kg bombs 50% fuel] Target Duties:Destroy Vehicle Targets at Moscheiken and Search and Destroy along MSR Targets Destroyed:0 Mission End Status: KIA Points: O
Mission Debriefing:
Took off as #3 in I/KG26 Redcoats flight, with I/KG26 Fishey as #2 and II/KG200 Loki as the #4. We took off from Schrunden AF en route to the city of Moscheiken. Our target for the day was enemy vehicles in the city. Our flight took off, formed up nicely, and proceeded on a heading of approximately 180'. As we came upon the city of Moscheiken, our flight leader took us south of the city then swung around heading east to before attacking the targets on the south end of the city first. Redcoat had myself, and Loki, go in on the targets on the "triangle" just north of the river. I began my run by making sure I had my Stuvi set up for 1000m and 550 kph [TAS]. I called out that I was beginning my dive, chopped my throttle, and went in. As I went down, I began to pick up speed, too much speed, and realized I had forgotten to drop my dive brakes. Realizing I had not set my dive-brakes, I then dropped them. From then on, I began to over correct, and couldn't pull out of the dive. I went in to some buildings and pavement to the northwest of the target.

Pilot Name: Redcoat AircraftType: JU88 Target Duties:Moschekein Targets Destroyed: 31 cars, 1 aaa Mission End Status: RTB safe Points: 835
Mission Debriefing:
I took the lead of a JU88 flight, (50 fuel, 2x500s&18x50scs), with Fishey as number 2, Madjek second element leader and Loki as number 4. We took off from Schrundel ( L21) and headed due south to the west of Moschkein at 3000m.
As I'd recced the place already, I decided to lead the other guys in, so I manouvered the flight to the south side of the town, assigned Madjek and Loki to the big truck park at the south end of the town, while me and Fish went in ahead to draw flak. We dropped from 3000m to 2500m to get the extra speed and flew north over the town, pulling the flak off the attacking pair. Both Madjek and Loki followed their bombs and crashed. Fishey and I regrouped at the north side of the town, both of us with fuel leaks, to regain a bit of height for speed, ( making a CLOSE sighting of Dom) and we ran back in. The flak was very heavy, so I went ahead of Fishey to lead the way on the churchyard truck park, but his bombs went long. As he headed out due south to clear the town, I made a hard left and put in an attack on Madjeks target, getting a good hit. As he was out of bombs, I suggested he box around the town to stay out the flak and rtb. I made a last run through the town, but lost track of the church target, so I dropped on a flak gun on the northside of town. As I was unsure how many 50s I had left, and with damage to the right wing, engines overheating and a fuel leak, I felt I'd be pushing my luck to go back alone, so I ditched my last couple of pairs and headed home, with Fishey gettin in just ahead of me, making an ok landing
Moschekein was a very dificult target, with only the light flak visable. The heavy calibre stuff was pretty intense but hard to locate. Of the two targets, one was hit hard, with the churchyard truck lager untouched. Both Loki and Madjek were very unlucky to both go down on their first run, and it made it tricky for the last pair of JU88s to tackle the whole town. All said, I dont think any other pilots could have done any more on that target, and it emphasises the fact that more aircraft are needed for targets like Moschekein. Fishey had a great flight, especially as he's only flown once with us before, and was unfortunate to drop long on his target. Great job anyway guys, and some bloody awfull luck, lol

Pilot Name: I/KG26_Alpha AircraftType: He111 H-6 Target Duties: Schaulen af flak Targets Destroyed: Control tower/Radio Mission End Status: Landed at Airfield Points: 25
Mission Debriefing:
Today our flight was led by I/KG26_Evil Commish was No2 and I was assigned No3 with the dum dum rookie Hans Richterschlossenickerbootten as No4. Our egress to target alt 4000m started out on a approx 160' hdg then adjusted to 80' for 15 mins, we frmed up nice around 3800m after some flight contol issues with our flight leader Evil, I saw his bombadier workinf away in the cockpit adjusting his flight yoke, as we got to Schaulen Evil had the target reconned and got his payload away with a direct hit on 4 of the 4 flak installations, I took a fly by heading and reccied the control tower with commish behind me, suddenlyIl2's were in my bombsite landing at Schaulen !!!!!!!!!!!!! I had no bombsite to use so I manually dropped on the control tower leaving Commish to attack the landing enemy aircraft.
Evil and I stayed high not recieving and flak giving Commish a flak free low level run, as he wound down from 4000m to low level bomb our Ju88 clean up flight weas busy identifing targets, Commish made his run and took heavy 25mm flak, wich was dealt with by grayray in his Ju88. Commish reported no hits on enemy and rtb'd. The remaining flight rtb'd and had a clean flight home with no enemy interference.

Pilot Name: I/KG26 DIESEL Aircraft Type: Ju 88 A-4 1941 IH+DL Target Duties: ENEMY TRAINS, SUPPY TRUCKS, FLAK GUNS AND TANKS Targets Destroyed: One rail bridge V-9 One road bridge V-9 Mission End Status: Landed Safe Points:0
Mission Debriefing: Third combat mission with rookie crew, well maybe we are not rookies any more. Got into the air with 50 % fuel, 2-250 SC lb, 28-50 SC lb bombs. Weather was nice and followed flight leader to altitude. Raven took the lead on very long flight. After long search Raven found our assigned targets. Raven let me make first run at the train. Appeared the train flak gunners blew them selves up and the whole dam train mmmmmm. Raven spotted rail bridge and I hit it with 2-250 lb bombs and destroyed it. Raven suggested I take out the road bridge too, hit it with 2-50 lb bombs and destroyed it too. We were running dam low on fuel so we cut back to 60 - 90. Over enemy town on the front lines Raven spotted enemy targets and made bomb run at them , heavy flak gun hits destroyed his plane and crew at low level, no one got out! Moment silence, dam that was good crew and friends. Very low on fuel, cut back to 40 – 90 and shut right engine off. Drop all of the rest of my bombs. Grayray talked me into rough grass runway in middle of no where J-17. Tried to restart my right engine mmm would not start. Ran out of time and had to land on left engine only. Grayray was just off the runway with his running lights on, helped a lot. Do not think I would have made it if not for him. Lady luck was with me and my crew one more time. This is not at all like they told us it would be back at flight school. Have lot more gray hairs now. It appears 50% fuel with above bomb load is only good for one hour flying time at 70 – 90.

Pilot Name:IKG26_Evil AircraftType:HE-111-H6/2-SC2000/50%-fuel Target Duties:Enemy Flak emplacements at Schaulen Airfield Targets Destroyed:3 Flak Mission End Status:Landed at Memel Points:120 Was given Flight lead for our mission today, with Commish in #2 and Alpha in #3.Target for the day was Schaulen Airfield.I was to take out the flak emplacements around the airfield.Gray was going to meet us at the target in a JU88 with a wing for clean-up.Take off was delayed for 10 min or so but we all eventually got up safely.we had planned to take a heading of 80 degrees to target and adjust as we needed on approach. As we were climbing out (500pm) to our designated bombing altitude of 4000m,i had flight control problems i sorted it out, this happened 3 times in the early part of the flight. We achieved our 4000m and speed 270km.Bombsite was set to 330tas and 4000m.I had trouble aquiring the target. We had Gray up ahead reconning and giving us headings to the airfield Alpha and Commish had spotted it and shouted the heading out over the radio.Once aquired i set up and dropped, didnt seem like a good drop but targets were destroyed.Flak was firing but my plane made it out of there unharmed. We circled the target several times Alpha had dropped manually from altitube and seemed to get a direct hit while Commish who also couldnt aquire the site decided to try a lowlevel run on the airport.Commish dropped but took a hit from a remaining aaa .Regrouped with the rest and we took a heading of roughly 250 home.Flight home was uneventfull and landed safe at the base .No enemy aircraft was spotted during this mission ........I/KG26_Evil

Pilot Name:Fishey AircraftType:JU88 Target Duties:Moschekein Targets Destroyed:none Mission End Status:Landed safely Points:0
I flew as #2 in Redcoats flight of 4. We were tasked with hitting ground vehicles in Moschekein. The flight skirted past the town to the west then swung in from the south, #3 & #4 were ordered to attack while #1 & #2 would circle attracting flak. I followed #1 around the edge of town but the commies were not buying it, 3 & 4 were getting hit hard and quickly met their end. Red had us swing out and come in on a north to south run, the crossfire was pretty intense and I took a few hits to the port engine and wing. Unfortunately my drop was long most likely from the high speed. Red then ordered us to swing round and come in again, following him down he lost track of the church and went for the secondaries, not wanting to stick about too long I dropped on top of his targets ensuring they were destroyed. With a fuel leak and a strange sound from my engines I was then told to RTB. All in all it was ok for me I haven't had much time in the 88 and I forgot to engage my dive breaks and dropped at high speed allowing too much 'skip' in my SC500's. My second pass was better but Red didn't share ;D
