I could not see tower. I dropped to deck to hit tower with 2X2000sc at 100m. I sustained a fuel leak due to not enough bomb delay. At 1458 landed at drome in L12-9. No enemy aircraft seen, only 2x85mm flak guns at enemy drome heard, not seen.

Pilot Name: I/KG26_Alpha Aircraft Type: JU88-A4 Target Duties: Schaulen A/F Flak Targets Destroyed: 2 x flak Mission End Status: Landed at airfield Points: 120
Mission Debriefing:
Tarouggen our new base was under repair and the potholes made the take off interesting, I had II/KG200_Loki as my wingman today with 2 idiot rookies in No 3 & 4 . We egressed to Schaulen a/f heading approx 40' to cruise alt 4000m 300kph, the cloud base was 1600m-1500m and made the target hard to find I had a good final bearing to target of 44' and had to blind bomb the flak installations on the eastern end of the runway, I made a good guess and got 2x25mm guns making it possible for Loki to get in low level on the tower and radio hut. I also observed our fighters making a holding pattern over this base , and eventually they made several strafing runs finishing off the remaining 85mm flak and some static aircraft. loki took a fuel leak from his bomb run and egressed to the nearest field whilst I headed for home at Tauroggen, unfortunately Kling und Klang decided to follow Loki and buzzed the base he landed at until he ran to the bar for cover. Sorry fighter fellas for the ruck ass caused.

Pilot Name: Fishey AircraftType: He111-h6 Target Duties: Mitau AB Targets Destroyed: Parked AC Mission End Status: Alive and well Points: 200
Took off from Libau with hopes of hitting flak batteries around the Mitau AB. Climbed out to the NE up to 4000m sadly losing Red to technical diffulculties. As I neared the target are I went to the south of it and came in from 045 in order to get a nice line on the base. I didn't see the flak till I was over the target area so instead of circling back I decided to hit the parked AC and ordered my wingmen to do what they could. Appaerently the cloud cover was to great for them and they returned with thier loadout. My 2x 2000SC's struck the center of the parking area destroying most of the AC I then returned to the AB at Oscar 21 for sausage and beer (It wasn't free after all)

Pilot Name: I/KG26_MadJek Aircraft Type:JU-88A4 [Loadout 2x 1000kg bombs 75% fuel] Target Duties:Destroy Vehicle & Tank Targets north of Olai Targets Destroyed:21 Vehicles Mission End Status: Landed at Fraunenburg Points: 525
Mission Debriefing:
Took of as lead plane with I/KG26_Diesel. Our target today was vehicle and tank targets near the towns of Olai and Jaunolane. These targets were spotted by one of our crack recon pilots just this morning. Upon return to our base he said there was a large convoy and tank column awaiting fuel in the vicinity of W22. Diesel and I jumped into our planes after they were loaded with ordnance for our mission. After take off, I made a turn to the left completing a semicircle before heading out at an approximate heading of 070'. Diesel and his crew were able to join up and climb out to 3500m with me. At times, I felt like my plane was heavy on the stick and it took many corrections on my part to keep her on the correct course and alt. As I gained altitude, the wind seemed to blow us around like a leaf in the breeze. All the while, Diesel did a great job to stay with such a wobbly bird. Our course took us just north of Raseinen until we arrived overhead of Ozaiviai (Sector W-10). At this point, Diesel and I turned to an approximate 002' heading and proceeded towards our target. We tried to stay as close as possible, but my ship was having problems with it's throttle. I appeared to be gaining speed before slowing down unexpectedly.(Lag) Nevertheless, we pressed on. Upon approaching the target I called out to Diesel that I was going to drop down to 2000m and he would stay high to draw any flak. As I started losing altitude, I picked up more speed than I cared for. I wasn't used to the extra weight of the 2x1000kg bombs, so I deployed my dive brakes in my decent. The dive brakes slowed me down to about 300-320 kph. I then retracted them just under the cloud cover at 1700m. I continued to lose altitude as I was searching for the vehicles reprted in the area. However, it was too much altitude. I looked at my altimeter and noticed I was at about 1000m. I saw what appeared to be 4 enemy convoys held up on the road between Olai and Jaunolane. I passed over them and started to climb to get some altitude, then come back around and dive in on them. A call came over the radio to abort the climb and swing around and hit the targets on a low altitude pass. I proceeding in doing this and dropped my bombs near the center of the convoys. My rear gunner called out hits as we felt the force and heat of the explosion in our cockpit. I climbed up to about 500m and tried to look for Diesel. I spotted Diesel on my 6 o'clock and and told him I would fly to the north east of Jaunolane attempting to spot the reported tanks. As I passed over the town I saw a row of 4 tanks lined up in a east/west direction. I made a circuit around the town trying to draw any flak. There was no flak present in the city. As I was circling the town, one of my crew spotted another row of four tanks just on the elbow out of town heading north towards Riga. Diesel was making a run to locate the enemy as I relayed this information. Diesel then made a turn to port to come around on the tanks again. He flew north then came around on another turn to port to line up on the tanks heading southwest. As he called out his intention to start his run, I heard his voice unexpectedly go to quiet. I quickly glanced towards the last location of his plane and saw it go in. It was a terrible feeling to see such a good crew go in like that. My crew an I lost several great kampffliger today. Our flight home was eerily quiet. We turned to a heading of 270' and climbed to 1600m before heading home. We tried to follow the main supply routes from Riga to the west to see if there was any Soviet activity. We saw some destroyed vehicles and tanks near a bridge in sector R-21 and that was it. On our entire flight, we did not make contact with a single enemy aircraft or enemy vehicles - except for those in our target area. As I crossed friendly lines, we received a radio call from I/KG26_Fishey that they had just gotten some beer in at the Frauenberg airfield. We diverted our plane to the airstrip at Frauenburg. Upon landing, Fishey brought over ice cold beer for myself and my crew. We exchanged stories of the days mission and took a moment to remember out fallen comrades. We enjoyed the beer throughout the afternoon and with the fine pilots of JG26 that landed in Fraunenburg as well.
