Pilot Name:I/KG26_Raven AircraftType:HE111-H2 Target Duties:Industrial Area @ Libau Targets Destroyed:2 wagons Mission End Status:Landed Points:60
Mission Debriefing: Mission changed from bridge to industrial area @ Libau. Redcoat leader, me in second plane, Elwood in third. Took off and headed out to sea to make safe way to target area. Low visibility due to cloud coverage, didn't spot target till last moment, was to late to drop and had to fly around for second pass. Dropped bit early on second pass, minor damage made. Flak not very heavy this time, turned to sea immediatly after dropping bombs, flight home without incidents, minor flak just above Polangen, no damage taken. Jammed flaps on way down going to noobie fast, landed without further incidents. Good leadership from redcoat and nice wing formation from Elwood.

Pilot Name: I/KG26_Alpha AircraftType: Ju87B-2 Target Duties: Tilsit Bridge Armour Targets Destroyed: 2 cars Supply column Mission End Status: Landed at Airfield Points:50
Mission Debriefing:
Took off from Tilsit airfield and headed straight to the target area and attacked a supply column north of Tilsit bridge. Kronik attacked and got killed by a mobile flak unit Commish made a good bomb run too. 3 vehicles made it out of the attack. We egressed to N-6 bridge at Kelmen via South of Tauroggen, I spotted an enemy airfield SW of Tauroggen and advised Commish to avoid the area also radioing in its position to HQ. Once at N-6 target area Commish made a dive bomb attack narrowly missing the bridge requiring my self to attack with sucess, one bridge gone. We egressed back to home base making a strafing run on the cars from the earlier column attack, but the weather was bad enough to make strafing very dangerous and after 6-7 passes Commish met his demise taking a truck out with him, I rtb'd alone after making many strafing runs with no sucess. Landed at Tilsit airfield and made a slow walk to the bar missing my chums from the days mayhem.

Pilot Name: II/KG200 eLWood AircraftType: HE-111 H2 w/ 30 50 kg sc bombs Target Duties:Industrial area west of Libau Targets Destroyed: Structures containing rail cars Mission End Status: crash on landing Points: 195
Mission Debriefing: Took off with Redcoat (lead) and Raven for return to Libau. Route was same as last mission. On approach to target (3560 m, 280 km/h, TAS 320) tracked industrial structures on the "knob". Targets were destroyed from coast inland 3/4 through the industrial area at about 34 degrees. Took flak hit while tracking that resulted in a minor fuel leak. RTB'd alone as others in the flight were continuing to seek out targets (many more targets in the Libau area). No enemy air contacts throughout mission, and no escorts. Return trip uneventfull. Botched landing due to squirrel in the runway. Insurance adjuster has been called to the airfield-aircraft consumed by fire. No injuries to crew. Reprimand expected.

Pilot Name: I/KG26_Commish AircraftType: JU-87B-2 Target Duties: Columns Targets Destroyed: 1 tank, 2 cars Mission End Status: KIA Points: 9
Mission Debriefing: Flew Alpha's wing. Departed Stutka base and proceeded directly to column taget NNW of Tilsit. Made two low-level passes on convoy deploying 2 50SC's each pass destroying 1 tank and two cars. On Alpha's lead, the remaining 87's proceeded to map grid November-6 - target bridge. Made dive run deploying 250SC. Ordinance fell short of target. Flight leader went in and (I believe) hit the target. Egressed to home base strafing remaining convoy vehicles en route. I failed to pull out of shallow dive in timely manner and ended mission KIA.

Pilot Name: I/KG26_Redcoat AircraftType: He111 h2 Target Duties:Libua industrial sector Targets Destroyed: none Mission End Status: ditched safely, behind friendly lines Points: 0
Mission Debriefing:
I led the HE111 flight, with Raven and Elwood, taking 50 fuel and 20 sc70s. We returned to Libua in a repeat of the last mission we did, heading nw from Memel out to sea before going north. We climbed out to 3500m, and at approx 25km, (two and a half grids), with Libau at our 2 oclock position, we headed into target. Cloud was heavy, and obscuring the target from my view in the bombsite untill it was too late. Flying over, I saw 5 to 6 large vehicle parks, so I headed north for a go around. Raven did the same but headed easterly, and Elwood rtbd after successfully bombing. The flak was of a heavy calibre, and quite intense. On the second attempt, again I didnt drop because of the lack of view, although Raven did, so he headed home. After losing my temper slightly, I went low level and made 5 or 6 runs across the target zone, taking more and more damage and hitting nothing. After Id wasted all my bombs, losing my rudder, catching a fuel leak and getting hit in the port engine, I limped out to sea at low level. It was quite difficult to climb or hold a steady course, especially after the port engine packed up, but I made a safe wheels down landing in friendly territory. We saw no enemy fighter activity at any time, and there are still numerous targets left at Libau.

Pilot Name: I/KG26_MadJek AircraftType:JU-88A4 [Loadout 2x500kg & 18x50kg bombs 75% fuel] Target Duties:Destroy enemy train Targets Destroyed:1 Tank 12 Cars Mission End Status:Landed at Tilsit Airfield Points: 340
Mission Debriefing: Took off as #3 in I/KG26_Diesels Flight with CSS_Hayzee in the #2 slot and AI in the #4 slot. I was able to form up with the flight on the way out of Tilsit, but we became somewhat separated as we proceed to target. Our flight Leader radioed that he was going to slow down so that we could all regroup for better protection. Our flight got back together and continued on to target flying at approximately 1300m to stay just under the clouds. As we moved towards the target we picked up our escort from JG26, Brown 2. Brown 2 stayed high on our six protecting us in and out of the target. We arrived in the target area, just north of Kedainen, and began to search for the train. With the fog and haze Diesel brought us down closer to the deck. We continued south on the tracks looking for the enemy supply trains. There were not any trains to the south. Diesel had turned north to looking for trains and radioed that he had located one in Victor 8. Myself, CSS_Hayzee, and my wingman proceeded north to assist in destroying the target. As we proceeded up to the train, Diesel called out hits on the train over the radio before it unexpectedly went to quiet. As I approached his last known coordinates, I saw a dark black smoke column emanating from the ground and debis from a JU-88. CSS_Hayzee, myself, and my wingman all proceeded to our secondary target, a bridge in sector N6. Our flight there was uneventful. As we approached the target, I/KG26_Alpha came over our radio from the base to notify us that his flight of Stukas had successfully taken down the bridge, but observed tanks and vehicles in the area. He suggested flying north on the main road to Kelman. I informed CSS_Hayzee that myself and my wingman would be heading north on the road to Kelman. We became separated, and I called out to CSS_Hayzee to let him know I would circle around and wait for him. My wingman and I circled and attempted to make radio contact with CSS_Hayzee. At this time I also lost contact with Brown 2. Brown 2 must have returned to base with low fuel. Being unable to raise CSS_Hayzee on the radio, I radioed to all Kampfflieger in the area that I was heading up the road towards Kelmen with my wingman. As I began to move up the road, I quickly spotted 3 convoys coming south. I took some flak hits and began leaking fuel as I was trying to call in CSS_Hayzee about the newly acquired target. I then ordered my wingman to attack the enemy at will. I brought my crate around and made a run at the northern most convoy. As I came in for my drop, I kicked my rudder to hard and dropped poorly with my 500kg bombs. However their explosive burst took out most of the convoy. I then swung back around and noticed my wingman had gone in. I saw debris and another black column of smoke coming up from the vicinity of the convoys. It was a shame to lose another Kampflieger to Ivan. I made another two runs on the convoys hitting more cars and trucks. After dropping all my bombs I called base to let them know I was returning. Shortly after this, I was radioed by CSS_Hayzee. When my crew heard he and his crew were okay, we all seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. I notified him of the targets in Oscar 7 and continued towards base. As I write this brief I can only assume that his crate did not make it out of the target area. I did not hear anything over the radio, nor did I see a column of smoke indicating his crate had gone in. But he has yet to land at base with his crew. My only hope is that he and his crew are alive will be able to make it back to base somehow. Upon returning to Tilsit, my crew and I were able to make a safe landing despite the fog and haze. Checked my fuel gauge and noted I had just under 200 liters of fuel. My crew and I reported the last known whereabouts of CSS_Hayzee to our search and rescue boys. We hope that the storch recon plane is able to locate and pick up any survivors.
